The Hawthorne study has shed light on the illumination investigations that focused on developing important hypothesis. The illumination study has helped in understanding that the employees are responsive to the social factors such as effectiveness of team work and physical factors such the overall infrastructure of the office. All these affect the productivity of the personnel thus the employer need to ensure that at the workstation of each of its employees are properly maintained (Mumby, 2013).
